NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen arrived in Kabul Monday for talks with Afghanistan's president Hamid Karzai, officials said. Rasmussen was to hold meetings with President Karzai, other officials and civil society representatives, a NATO statement was quoted as saying by DPA. The talks with Karzai were to address the security situation, Afghan security forces and the withdrawal of NATO-led foreign troops, scheduled for completion by the end of 2014, an official from the president's office said. Karzai and Rasmussen were to hold a press conference later Monday.
