He said Saudi Arabia is using its financial and economic resources for the interest of its people, citing the vast expenditure on education, health, social services, housing, and specialized development funds in the last State's budget. The representative of the world's biggest oil exporter assured the world energy consumers that Saudi Arabia is willing to enhance global economy through pursuing a balanced oil policy and supporting the economies of Arab and friendly countries. He cited the recent initiative by the monarch at the Arab 3rd development summit in Riyadh calling for the increase of capitals of Arab joint financial institutions and companies by no less than 50%. He confirmed the keenness of the Kingdom on increasing its volunteer donation practice to help developing countries overcome economic difficulties, emanating from its belief in the role it was playing in enhancing and protecting human rights.
