The German government had a budget surplus of 0.2 per cent of its economic output last year, the Federal Statistical Office said Friday. According to dpa, an initial figure had put the surplus at 0.1 per cent of Germany's economic output. Germany recorded a deficit of 0.8 per cent in 2011.
