Cyprus to hold runoff presidential elections next weekend

Presidential elections in Cyprus will go to a runoff next weekend, official results showed, after conservative Democratic Rally Party leader Nicos Anastasiades failed to clinch an outright majority. dpa reported.
Anastasiades will face communist-backed AKEL candidate Stavros Malas, a former health minister.
