Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Anqari opened here this evening the International Conference on Development of Quranic Studies, organized by the chair of Quranic studies at King Saud University (KSU) in collaboration with the Center for the interpretation of Quranic studies. In his speech during the opening ceremony, Dr. Badran bin Abdurrahman Al-Amr, KSU Rector stressed that the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to this conference, which will last for five days, is a clear embodiment of this blessed country's keenness on religion. He also said that the Kingdom has not abandoned its principle of commitment to religious identity, giving it unmatched character in the whole world.
