The meteorite shower over central Russia that injured some 1,000 people had no connection to an asteroid passing close to Earth on Friday, dpa quoted the US space agency NASA as saying. "According to NASA scientists, the trajectory of the Russian meteorite was significantly different than the trajectory of the asteroid 2012 DA14, making it a completely unrelated object," NASA said.
