Thousands of German anti-fascist activists massed Wednesday to block a planned neo-Nazi march in the city of Dresden, on the anniversary of the city's World War II bombing in 1945. The activists formed human chains near the historic city centre to block a scheduled march by neo-Nazis, who were estimated by police to number 800 to 1,200 in the city. dpa cited Police as saying that 10,000 anti-fascist activists had gathered to block them by about 1715 GMT. -- SPA
