Faisal said that "It is natural and necessary to reach a deal between Iran and the international community. However, Iran should abide by the international rules in force, notably on increasing its nuclear arsenal in the region. The matter is no longer an option. Iran did say that it was pursuing a peaceful way, but actually it was working on manufacturing an atomic bomb. Yet, if that was its intention, then it had breached international community's rules and UN laws and resolutions." He added "First, we are not seeking neither a conciliation nor a settlement between Iran and any entity that wants to negotiate with Iran. Instead, we are seeking a solution to evade any increase in nuclear weapons in the Middle East. We would like to see a nuclear-free Middle East, as this is the policy we are pursuing." Answering a question on a recommendation to put Israel and Syrian regime on a terrorist States blacklist, Prince Saud Al-Faisal said that "In fact, the Syrian issue depends on the will of Syrians themselves, not on the will of any other side. The political solution conducive to a peaceful transition of power is surely desired. But how to launch such a dialogue; who will undertake it and who will take part in it are all questions to be answered only by the Syrian people and their new leadership." --More
