Israeli conflict, and I would like in this regard to value Austria's position in supporting the decision of the General Assembly of the United Nations to grant Palestine the status of non-member observer state at the United Nations. This decision affirmed standing of the majority of the international community with the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people under the Israeli policy of intransigence on the one hand, and the failure of the UN Security Council to put its relevant resolutions into effect on the other. The Iranian nuclear file was among the topics that was discussed in our meeting today, especially in light of the lack of response by Iran to diplomatic efforts aimed at resolving this crisis peacefully and removing the doubts that surround it to ensure the peaceful use of the program in accordance with the criteria and procedures of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and under its supervision. We also discussed the crisis of Mali. The Kingdom sees that there is a need to put the Mali problem under the umbrella of the United Nations and its oversight of the efforts to reach an agreement between the South and the North and under its sponsorship provided that the United Nations is the supervisor of the work of African Union troops and through a sufficient number of international observers. Yemen occupied a part of our discussions. We hope everyone will participate in the comprehensive national dialogue conference in the month of March and that it will result in what unites the vision of the people of Yemen of all groups regarding the present and future of their country to complete the implementation of the Gulf initiative and its implementation mechanism aimed at preserving Yemen's unity, security and stability and lay the foundations for the new civil state based on the principles of justice, equality and respect of the rights of all including the consideration of the injustices suffered by southern Yemen and working to resolve them.
