President-elect of South Korea Park Geun-hye, appointed former General Prosecutor of Korea Chung Hong Won as the first Prime Minister of her forthcoming government, it was announced here today. Deputy Chairman of the Power Transition Team Chin Young said in a statement that Chung, who currently works as advocate, is expected to become the first premier of Park's new administration. He added that Park alos nominated former Defense Minister Kim Jang Soo to head the Naitonal Security Office which will be established at the presidential office and the former chief of army staff Park Hyung Ryol to lead the Presidential Security authority.
