Faisal bin Abdulrahman bin Muammar, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Secretary General of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Center for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue delivered a speech on the King's initiative to establish the center which was inaugurated in Vienna, Austria in November, 2012. In a ceremony held recently in Madrid on the 20 anniversary of signing coexistence agreement between the Spanish government and religious communities, he talked about the foundational steps of the Center and Spain's important role as a member of the Center's Council. The ceremony was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Spain Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Farhan, Spanish Justice Minister Alberto Ruiz-Gallardon Jiménez, and a number of officials. The agreement for the establishment of the Center was signed in October 2011 in Vienna with a partnership among Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Austria, and the Kingdom of Spain.
