The number of the people affected by the tragic situation in Syria amounted to four million people inside Syria and more than 600 thousand refugees outside Syria who live under tragic living conditions and bad climatic conditions," he added. Dr. Assaf stressed necessity to stand all together and support the Syrian people, expressing appreciation and thanks of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, and Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon for hosting and organizing the donor conference in Kuwait.
