Faisal, the Minister of Foreign Affairs said: "This summit was devoted to the economic side and aimed to implement what was agreed upon at its two previous summits and there were proposals for the summit, which focused on three major issues: the economic situation, development of development systems in Arab countries and the implementation of intra-Arab joint cooperation and development steps, both in the free trade area or in other areas of cooperation and customs union." Prince Saud al-Faisal also said that "The summit has attracted attention to citizen's needs in terms of health, per capita income, creation of decent employment opportunities and prosperity of this region which its citizens, in fact, have been waiting for so long to achieve their goals."
