Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi opened here today the 44th round of Cairo Indternational Book Fair. More than 25 countries are taking part in the exhibition. The opening ceremony was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan, who is also the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Permanent Representative to the Arab League. Touring the expo following the opening ceremony, President Morsi dropped at the Saudi book pavilion where he was greeted by the Supervisor of the pavilion Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Waheebi and a number of officials. Morsi was briefed on the contents of the Saudi pavilion. He expressed admiration of the quantity and quality of Saudi publications displayed at the fair. -- SPA
