Arab trade and investment exchange. Arab Governments should make every effort to overcome obstacles facing Arab private sector and to create the right environment to encourage the flow of inter-Arab investments. To this end, I call for the adoption of the amended Unified Agreement for the Investment of Arab Capital within our agenda. We hope that this Unified Agreement will serve as an attracting factor for Arab investments as it provides facilities and guarantees. I call upon Arab businessmen and investors to seize this opportunity and work on taking advantage of the benefits of the Unified Agreement. Dear Brothers: The level of trade exchange among our countries could not satisfy our ambitions and capabilities which, in turn, requires all of us to work hardly and faithfully to build the desired Arab economic integration. Therefore, I call for the need to complete the requirements of the Greater Arab Free Trade Area before the end of this year, and to work on completing the rest of the requirements of the Arab Customs Union in accordance with the time frame agreed upon previously that sets the full implementation by 2015. I also welcome the Aid for Trade Initiative for Arab States launched by the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation which aims at supporting efforts to increase the volume of inter-Arab trade exchange. I announce the readiness of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to support this initiative and contribute to its budget, so that it can be implemented as soon as possible. In conclusion, I welcome you again, wishing this summit all success. May Allah's peace, mercy and blessings be upon you". --More
