Yaum newspaper said that the Riyadh Economic Summit comes at a critical time, adding that the Kingdom realized early on that beneficial economic cooperation is what will bring security to the peoples of the region and maintain the stability of their countries. The newspaper said, "We hope that in this summit, Arabs will overcome all obstacles and take important decisions that guarantee for their countries and their people stability, security, a dignified life and bright future." Okaz newspaper highlighted the importance of the Riyadh summit in finding a mechanism to protect the Arab world from the factors that led to the current crisis faced by the world economy.
