Watan newspaper commented on the forthcoming Israeli parliamentary elections and said that Arabs inside Israel should agree on a unified stand on the issue of participation in the Israeli elections. Referring to the current situation in Mali, Al-Riyadh newspaper said that France must get support from its allies and try to ask for Gulf financial contribution to its campaign, which is doubtful because it would strengthen the extremists in the whole Islamic world who will accuse the Arab Gulf countries of waging war on Muslim brothers at the hands of a country that is against them and this in itself is a position which cannot be accepted: to enter into a conflict that is not a party to it and does not want to be a part of its crisis. On the same subject, Okaz called for regional and international cooperation to take steps to address the issue because individual or partial efforts will not achieve complete success.
