GCC Secretary General Lauds Royal Order to Allocate 30 Seats for Women in Majlis Al-Shura

Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Member States, lauded today the royal order issued by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to allocate 30 seats for women in Majlis Al-Shura.
In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the GCC Secretary General added that this step definitely consolidates the Saudi women position and enhances their active role in the society.
