Gas Leak Kills at least Eight in Turkish Coal Mine

A gas leak inside a coal mine in northern Turkey killed at least eight miners on Monday, dpa quoted the Anatolia news agency as reporting.
Rescuers were searching underground for several miners still missing. At least one miner is reported to have been saved.
The incident occurred after a large amount of methane gas was released in the mine, located in the Black Sea city of Kozlu.
