Minister of Municipal Affairs Signs SR 2 Billion Projects

Prince Dr. Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, has recently signed here in his office at the Ministry 30 contracts worth SR 2,177,462,785 with a number of national companies for the implementation of municipal projects in various regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The projects will be implemented in the regions of Makkah, Madinah and Riyadh; Eastern Region; and the Governorates of Jeddah and Ahsa.
The projects include among others the establishment of rain-drainage networks; maintenance of roads, tunnels and gardens; coast development; traffic safety works; and the establishment of municipal buildings, utilities and markets.
