Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Rabiah has hailed Saudi leadership's support for health services to provide better medical services and facilities for citizens in all parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a statement, he said the Health ministry's budget for the current fiscal year 1434/1435 AH carried many programs and health projects, which will provide additional health services and facilities in all regions of the Kingdom. " The ministry's budget allocations for the current fiscal year total SR 54,350,355,000, showing an increase of 15.45% compared to the allocations of last fiscal year's budget. The details of the current fiscal year budget of the Ministry of Health are as follows: Part I: items, programs, salaries and allowances, SR 25,200,000,000. Part II: operating expenses: most important of which are medicines, Training, subsistence and etc., SR 7,758,600,000. Part III: operation: self-maintenance programs and medical cleaning and maintenance, SR 16,391,755,000. Part IV: projects: construction and development projects SR 5,000,000,000, bringing the total amount to SR 54,350,355,000. The salaries of employees at the Ministry of Health are approximately 60% of the total approved budget of the ministry, Dr.Al-Rabiah said. The budget of this fiscal year included the opening of 155 centers for primary health care in all regions and governorates of the Kingdom, he added.
