Striker Demba Ba completed his Premier League move from Newcastle to Champions League winners Chelsea on Friday and said he was joining a "massive club.", dpa reported. The 27-year-old signed for an undisclosed fee, having reportedly had a 7 million-pound (11.3 million dollars) buyout clause in his contract. Ba could make his Chelsea debut at Southampton in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday. "It feels good to be here, I'm very happy and very proud," Ba said. "When the club who won the Champions League wants you, the decision making is very easy. This club is massive and that's something that helped the decision a lot. It was not a hard one." Ba came to England in January 2011 from Germany's Hoffenheim, joining West Ham. He moved on to Newcastle the same year after West Ham's relegation. ba has scored 36 goals in 66 Premier League games. -- SPA
