The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) said today that a fire which broke out this morning at one of the sites of companies operating in the field of environment in Jubail Industrial City and specializing in the treatment of industrial waste, has been brought under control, adding that the incident resulted in the death of 6 employees at the site. The Spokesman of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, Dr. Abdullah Al-Abdul-Qader said in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency that the fire broke out at 10.35 am at the site of ADCO Environment, a company specializing in the disposal of industrial waste and resulted in 6 deaths of workers at the site. Dr. Al-Abdul-Qader said that all sides in the Jubail Industrial city including RCJY, security agencies and Civil Defense as well as other companies, mobilized efforts that had contributed to the fire extinguishing operations.
