In presence of Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA), the Higher Coordination Committee for Joint Arab Action started meetings of its 42nd session here yesterday. Attended by Secretary General of the League of Arab, Dr. Nabil Al-Arabi and President of the Arab Tourism Organisation (ATO) Dr. Bandar Bin Fahad al-Fuhaid, the two-day meetings are set to discuss a number of issues, especially, in the domain of Arab tourism. On the occasion, Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz delivered a speech in which he welcomed the participants and attendees in their second homeland, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, noting the current phase as historic and exceptional in the development of the cultural dimension of the kingdom. He indicated that this phase includes a number of tracks, patronized by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud who is keen on the urgent implementation of its projects, including the creation of dozens of new museums, rehabilitation of tens of heritage sites and archaeological sites, and the conducting of awareness programs for citizens.
