The Shura Council members congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on being discharged from hospital, after having completely recovered following a successful surgical operation he has recently undergone at King Abdulaziz Medical City of the National Guard in Riyadh. In a statement, following its 73rd ordinary session presided over by Deputy Speaker Dr. Mohammed bin Ameen Al-Jeffery, the Shura Council also extended congratulations to Crown Prince Salman bin Abdualziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, the royal family and the Saudi people on this delightful occasion. Reading the statement to the press, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Amro, Secretary General of the chamber, drew the attention to the feelings of jubilance and happiness that came out of citizens who expressed their overwhelming love for their king, reflecting the tight relations binding the leadership of the country with its people. On the other hand, the Shura Council underscored the importance of enabling the General Auditing Bureau to review and audit the accounts of banks in which the government holds no less than 25% of their shares.
