Qatari Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Major General Hamad bin Ali Al-Attiyah met here today with the Director General of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) Ahmed Uzumcu. The meeting was held on the sidelines of a seminar on chemical weapons convention of Asian member states. During the meeting, they discussed prospects of cooperation between the Qatari Armed Forces and the OPCW in the field of prohibiting chemical weapons.
