King Abdullah II of Jordan left here today en-route to Britain for a working visit to London during which he will meet British Prime Minister David Cameron and Foreign Secretary William Hague and a number of senior officials, political leaders and the British parliamentary and media representatives. An official Jordanian statement released this morning said that the talks will focus on the latest developments in the Middle East, particularly current developments at Syrian arena and ways to move forward the peace efforts in Palestine on the basis of the two-state solution. The talks will also deal with the European role in the revival of the (Middle East) peace process and the enhancement of security and stability in the region as well as prospects for promoting Jordanian-British cooperation in various fields and ways of developing them.
