Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) and Chairman of Al-Turath Charitable Institution, participated here today in a meeting held by Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja, Minister of Culture and Information, with the editors-in-chief in presence of Dr. Abdullah Al-Jasser, Deputy Minister of Culture and Information. Dr. Khoja welcomed Prince Sultan bin Salman in this regular meeting which discusses the role of media and its contributions in enhancing the national identity, the developmental role in addition to the national partnership and the active role of the local newspapers. The meeting discussed an idea of the Historical Pictures Exhibition in the Saudi newspapers which is patronized by Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, who is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of King Abdulaziz Foundation. This exhibition is organized by Al-Turath Charitable Institution in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Information, King Fahd National Library, King Abdulaziz Foundation, King Abdulaziz Library and the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities. The meeting also discussed the importance of the local newspapers' participation in supporting this exhibition. Then, Prince Sultan bin Salman who is accompanied by Dr. Khoja, Al-Jasser and Abdulaziz Al-Hazza, Governor of Radio and Television Commission, toured the studios of the television.
