Tunisia's President Al-Munsif Al-Marzouqi has met here with Mohammed Yousef Al-Magraif, Speaker of Libya's National General Congress, who is currently on a visit to Tunisia, and discussed with him cooperation between the two countries and regional and international issues of mutual concern. In a joint press conference last night, they confirmed the depth of ties binding their two countries and keenness to tighten economic relations between them. The Tunisian President said his country would receive a financial support worth $150 million from Libya. On recognition of the Syrian Transitional Council, Al-Marzouqi said the authorities in Tunisia are continuously exchanging consultations on the issue, noting that his country rejects foreign interference in Syria.
