Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan Thursday praised Egypt's role in the ceasefire in Gaza, according to dpa.
Egypt's role was commendable, Erdogan told reporters in Islamabad,
where he was attending a summit of Muslim nations. "We wish to see
this ceasefire continue," he said.
He called the attack by Israel on Gaza was "an assault onhumanity."
