Missile Aimed at Tel Aviv Shot Down, Israeli Military Confirm

A missile fired from the Gaza Strip toward Tel Aviv Saturday was intercepted by the Iron Dome anti-missile defense system, an Israeli military spokeswoman confirmed.
According to dpa, Israel deployed an Iron Dome battery in the greater Tel Aviv area Saturday, after rockets from the Strip had been launched toward the densely-populated metropolis on Thursday and Friday.
