The Secretariat of Hajj Committee in Madinah Region reported today that the number of pilgrims who arrived in Madinah by yesterday was 29,784 pilgrims, while 39,342 have departed. The total number of pilgrims arriving in Madinah has reached 543,435 pilgrims, detailing that 330,205 pilgrims have departed and 213,169 pilgrims remain to stay in the holy city. Pilgrims are arriving in Madinah to visit the Prophet's Mosque and the most prominent Islamic and historical landmarks after performing Hajj rituals. The largest percentage of pilgrims who are in Medina belong to Indonesian nationality (57,057), followed by Pakistani nationality (37,623) and Indian nationality (36,744).
