AlHijjah 28, 1433, Nov 13, 2012, SPA -- President Mohammed Mursi of Egypt received at his office in Cairo today Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The meeting was attended by Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Egypt Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Gattan, who is also his country's Permanent Representative to the Arab League, and Dr. Khalid Al-Jandan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Bilateral Relations. Following the meeting, Dr. Yasser Ali, Egypt's Presidency spokesman, said in a statement that bilateral relations between the two countries, ways of enhancing them in all fields in addition to a number of issues of concern to the two countries were discussed in the meeting and efforts of the Quartet to solve the Syrian crisis including the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in this regard were also reviewed.
