AlHijjah 28, 1433, Nov 13, 2012, SPA - The Minister of Transport, Dr. Jubarah bin Eid Al-Suraiseri, opened here today a symposium on "Management of governmental projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia" organized by the Institute of Public Administration. Addressing the symposium, Dr. Al-Suraiseri said that the Kingdom in the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has been achieving unprecedented number of gigantic projects throughout the Kingdom's regions in all fields including energy, transport, health, education, and human resources. In another speech, the Director General of the Institute of Public Administration Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Shaqawi said that the current year's budget allocated for new programs, projects and additional phases of some previous projects an amount of SR 265 billion, representing 38.5% of the budget, in addition to allocations for projects from the budget- surpluses which had this year an amount of SR 250 billion to finance the construction of 500,000 housing units.
