AlHijjah 27, 1433, Nov 12, 2012, SPA - British Foreign Secretary William Hague has welcomed the decision to form the National Coalition of Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces yesterday. In a statement issued here yesterday, Hague said, "I welcome the decision to form the National Coalition of Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces. This is an important milestone in forming a broad and representative Opposition that reflects the full diversity of the Syrian people. The onus is now on the National Coalition to choose effective leaders and to appoint an executive that can work with the international community so that we can deliver more non-lethal assistance to them. We urge the National Coalition to engage with all sections of Syrian society in preparing the political transition that Syria urgently needs''.
