AlHijjah 25, 1433, Nov 10, 2012, SPA - The 25th Conference of General Assembly of Space Explorers Association has concluded its meetings in Riyadh, which were held on the sidelines of Saudi International Space and Aeronautics Technology Conference 2012, in the presence of Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) and Member of Space Explorers Association. The Prince said in a press statement following the conclusion of the conference, "I express my thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who has been emphasizing that all institutions shall work in an integrated way, adding that their contributions have helped in the success of the two conferences." He said the 100 participating astronauts and scientists commended the outcomes of the Conference and its excellent organization. The Prince said they were briefed on areas of environment, community, scientific progress, development, youth, desert and heritage of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Space Explorers Association is an international non-profitable organization founded in 1985. It includes more than 350 astronauts from 35 countries.
