Ten Previously Released People Arrested While Trying To Sneak Across The Border Into The Territory Of Yemen: Security Spokesman

AlHijjah 20, 1433, Nov 5, 2012, SPA -- The Interior Ministry's security spokesman said that a border guard patrol in the Sharurah sector of Najran region was ambushed by a number of armed people with automatic weapons at four o'clock and fifty minutes at the dawn of Monday, 20/12/1433 H., which resulted in the martyrdom of the first class private Fahd bin Hussein Fahd Alhmandi and first class private Mohammed bin Hassan Ali Manaia'.
The Spokesman said "By the grace of Allah Almighty, the security officers managed to follow these aggressors while trying to cross the Saudi border to Yemeni territory, exchanged fire with them and arrested them, their number was eleven people, after wounding four of them seriously; ten of them were Saudis in addition to an expatriate of the Yemeni nationality.
By initial validation of their identities and their criminal records, it became clear that all those arrested Saudis, had been earlier arrested for their association with crimes and activities of the deviant group and that they have recently been released, according to the following:
1 - Nhad Khaled Ayed Al-Otaibi was released on 05/08/1432 AH.
2 - Mohammed Faraj Sulaiman Al-Anzi was released on 01/10/1432 AH.
3 - Khalil Hassan Yahya Al-Zahrani was released on 13/03/1433 AH.
4 - Bandar Thaar Daij Al-Harbi was released on 24/03/1433 AH.
5 - Abdullah Saad Mohammed Al Maarouf Al-Sayyari was released on 19/05/1433 AH.
6 - Mohamed Salem Awad Al-Sayyari was released on 26/06/1433 AH.
7 - Fahd Mohammed Hamoud Al-Bakri Al-Shihri was released on 30/06/1433 AH.
8 - Ali Abdullah Saleh Al-Salamah was released on 23/07/1433 AH.
9 - Isa Awad Ghazi Al-Otaibi was released on 30/07/1433 AH.
10 - Khalid Faisal Nafil Al-Otaibi was released on 26/09/1433 AH.
The spokesman said that while the Ministry of Interior announces this, it confirms that the security men will strictly perform their functions and duties and that the Sharia judiciary is the party that will decide the fate of those who were involved in the activities of the deviant group and that the competent bodies are doing what they can to work on correcting the concepts of those who are released while they spend the penalties prescribed by Sharia. Social responsibility remains after that on the people around them to ensure that their course is safe and that they do not threaten the security and safety of the community taking into consideration the importance of speedily informing the competent authorities of everything that arouses suspicion, the spokesman said.
