AlHijjah 17, 1433, Nov 2, 2012, SPA - Saudi Red Crescent Authority said that as soon as the operations room of Civil Defense was notified about an incident of a gas tanker which rammed into one of the bridges of Khurais Road on Thursday morning and resulted in a gas explosion, the Authority had sent to the site of the accident 20 ambulance ground squads, three medics squads, and one air ambulance, noting that the medical squads found 129 injured people whose injuries varied between moderate to serious and they were transferred to a number of hospitals including National Guard Hospital, Al-Iman Hospital; Abanmy Hospital; Dr. Sulaiman Al-Habib Hospital and Al-Mowasat Hospital. In its statement issued yesterday, the Authority said that Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Red Crescent Authority has been following up the incident, issuing his directives to provide the best medical care to the injured and to transfer them to nearby hospitals.
