AlHijjah 15, 1433, Oct 31, 2012, SPA -- The Eurogroup of eurozone finance ministers said on Wednesday a deal on austerity measures demanded from Greece in exchange for bailout funds was not final, contradicting statements by Greek officials that an agreement had been reached, dpa reported. "We called on the Greek authorities to solve remaining issues so as to swiftly finalize the negotiations with the troika institutions (of international lenders)," Eurogroup president Jean-Claude Juncker said in a statement following a teleconference on Greece. The 17 ministers are expected to further discuss Greece's reform and austerity programme at their next meeting on November 12, Juncker added.
