Adha, wishing you acceptable Hajj, forgiven sins, good rewards, and many happy returns. Since the era of Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him), until the era of Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) and nowadays, believers come to the Holy Grand Mosque in Makkah, in response to Allah's call in a great event which embodies the idea of equality in clinging to the hopes in Allah Almighty for the unity of the Islamic nation, rejection of dissension, and unity of Islamic ranks against the nation's enemies and predators. The dialogue of Islamic nation with itself is a religious duty, as fragmentation, ignorance, and extremism are obstacles threatening Muslims' hopes. Dialogue promotes moderation and eliminates the causes of conflicts and extremism; and there is no way out except for attaching our hopes to Allah Almighty and depending on Him in faithful determination that does not recognize pitfalls whatever they might be. Dear Brothers: The idea of Center of Dialogue Between Islamic Sects, for which we have announced in Makkah, does not necessarily mean agreement on the issues of religion, but it aims to reach solutions for dissention and the achievement of coexistence between sects far away from intrigues or others, this matter will be for the benefit of our Islamic nation and unification of its ranks. From my place here, in the vicinity of the Holy Grand Mosque in Makkah, I call on the Organization of the United Nations to adopt a draft resolution condemning any State or group that offends divine religions and prophets (peace be upon them); and this is our duty and every Muslim's duty to defend our Islamic religion and prophets. I pray to Allah Almighty for strengthening the hopes in our hearts in commitment to Him and to the right and obedience. May Allah's peace, mercy and blessings be upon you. --More
