AlHijjah 10, 1433, Oct 26, 2012, SPA -- Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud addressed here today an audience he held with a number of princes; the Grand Mufti of the kingdom; scholars; sheikhs; guests of the king from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states; ministers; commanders; officers and employees of the security of the pilgrimage; and the scouts participating in the pilgrimages. Following is the text of the address: "In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful; May Allah's prayers and blessings be upon Prophet Mohammed and his family and companions; My Brothers, the men of all sectors of the armed forces; May Allah's peace and blessings be upon you. I congratulate you and the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Eid al-Adha, praying to Allah the Almighty for the return of this blessed occasion on our country and the Islamic Ummah with good and blessings. Dear Brothers: I thank Allah for bestowing the honor of serving the pilgrims on us. I can only pray to Allah the Almighty to help you. Dear Brothers: You are the shield protecting this nation. No doubt, you know what is going on in the region currently. The enemies of the Ummah are lurking your country with the aim of undermining our country's security and unity which were achieved and struggled for by the late King Abdulaziz and your grandfathers. We are surrounded by seditions which can only be deterred by depending on Allah the Almighty and standing in the face of whoever contemplate tampering with the security, unity and sovereignty of our country. Therefore, we should shoulder our responsibility. May Allah's peace and blessings be upon you."
