AlHijjah 6, 1433, Oct 22, 2012, SPA -- Rosneft boss Igor Sechin was evidently carrying out the wishes of his ultimate boss, President Vladimir Putin, as he made public Monday his company's huge takeover deal in front of the rolling cameras of Russian state television, dpa reported. The takeover of TNK-BP had been completed, the 52-year-old - who has shadowed Putin throughout his political career - said upon concluding the 61-billion-dollar deal that will turn Rosneft into the world's largest listed oil producer. The deal is the biggest coup yet by the team, that traces its origins to St Petersburg politics in the early 1990s. Sechin has followed Putin like a shadow. Opponents refer to him as "the most frightening power broker" in Moscow. -- SPA
