AlHijjah 6, 1433, Oct 22, 2012, SPA -- Kosovo police fired teargas Monday at a crowd of demonstrators attempting to storm the parliament in Pristina to protest against talks with Serbia. The protest was called by the Kosovo Albanian nationalist movement Vetevendosje (Self-determination), which fiercely opposes the EU-sponsored talks with Serbia aimed at improving relations, dpa reported. The talks are aimed at normalizing trade, transport, telecommunications, energy and other spheres of life between the two neighbors. Demonstrators threw rocks at police. There were injuries on both sides, Serbian state television RTS said.
