AlQa'dah 28, 1433, Oct 14, 2012, SPA -- Following the launch of wastes sorting out from the source project in Jeddah Province last night, the Red Sea resort city of Jeddah is expected to become the first in the Arab Gulf and the Region on the list of UN developed cities in terms of clean environment, it was announced here today. Dr. Hani Aburass, the Mayor of Jeddah city, said in a press statement that following last night's program to sort out garbage once collected in front of homes in Jeddah, the United Nations has promised to announce the city as an environmentally clean city, citing its getting rid of Methane gas during the process and commitment to Kyodo Protocol.
