AlQa'dah 23, 1433, Oct 9, 2012, SPA -- French police Tuesday fired tear gas to prevent hundreds of demonstrators from storming the Paris Motor Show in a protest over job losses, France Info radio reported. Around 1,000 workers from PSA Peugeot-Citroen, France's biggest carmaker, and from several other companies that have announced steep job cuts made the motor show a focus of their protest on a day of nationwide demonstrations over unemployment. Some of the demonstrators threw bottles and other projectiles at the police, who fired several rounds of teargas.
