Jordanian King Receives WTO Secretary General, WTTC Chairman

AlQa'dah 21, 1433, Oct 7, 2012, SPA -- Jordanian King Abdullah II on Sunday met with the Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization (WTO) Taleb Rifai and the President and Chief Executive Officer of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) David Scowsill.
During the meeting, King Abdullah II reviewed scopes of cooperation between Jordan and the two organizations in areas of tourism promotion, training, knowledge transfer and launching tourism projects.
For their part, Rifai and Scowsill valued Jordan's efforts to develop the tourism sector, noting advantages that would enable Jordan to move forward in the development of this sector.
