AlQa'dah 21, 1433, Oct 7, 2012, SPA - Kuwait's Emir, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah issued today a decree to dissolve the National Assembly, which was elected in 2009, after about three months from its re-institution according to a decision of the Constitutional Court. Kuwait TV said, "The Emir issued a decree dissolving 2009 Assembly ." According to the constitution, the decision to dissolve the parliament opens the door to holding elections within 60 days.
