AlQa'dah 17, 1433, Oct 3, 2012, SPA -- Five tourists from Taiwan, including a child, died Wednesday after two tour boats collided in one of Vietnam's most popular holiday destinations, authorities said. According to dpa, the accident occurred in Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site off the country's north-east coast. A vessel with 19 passengers, including one captain, was ferrying the visitors from their tour boat to a cave on the bay when it crashed into a larger boat around 3:30 pm (0630 GMT), capsized and then sank. Three women, one man and a nine-year-old girl drowned said Nguyen Van Doc, chairman of Quang Ninh People's Committee. The other 14 passengers were rescued. They were part of a group of 36 tourists travelling from Taiwan.
