Kingdom participates in the meeting of the General Assembly of the World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva

AlQa'dah 16, 1433, Oct 2, 2012, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia participated in the meeting of the General Assembly of the World Intellectual Property Organization, which began today in Geneva.
Vice president of King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology for Support for Scientific Research Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Suwailem led the Saudi delegation to the meeting and addressed the General Assembly.
He highlighted the interest of the Kingdom in intellectual property explaining that the Kingdom joined the World Intellectual Property Organization in 1982 and enforced laws in the areas of intellectual property .
He reviewed the Kingdom's efforts related to intellectual property and progress in this area.
