AlQa'dah 12, 1433, Sep 28, 2012, SPA -- Kenya's military on Friday said it captured the key Somali southern port city of Kismayo from the militant group al-Shabaab, dpa reported. African Union troops, backing government forces, have been advancing towards Kismayo from the north, while Kenyan troops moved in from the south-west. On Thursday, Nairobi's soldiers began their assault on the city situated some 500 kilometres south of the capital Mogadishu.
